No, it’s not a bar that doesn’t serve alcohol (how boring would that be?). It’s LA’s newest “blow dry bar.” All they do is blowouts – as they say, “No cuts. No color. Just blowouts.”
The best part is they are only $35! You’re in, you’re out for 35 bucks (make it $45 if you want a 10 minute scalp-massage from a “floater” during your shampoo).
The “menu” consists of five individual blowouts, each equipped with its own fun name. The “Straight Up” is the signature blowout, the “Mai Tai” is a messy & beachy look, the “Southern Comfort” gives you lots of volume, a “Cosmopolitan” means loose curls and the “Manhattan” makes you sleek and smooth like a city girl.
At drybar, you can have parties, a bartab (monthly specials), and even buy blowout gifts for your girlfriends.
drybar opened to the public on February 12th in Brentwood (San Vicente & Barrington). So go ahead, eat your heart out!
