I just had to tell you about the Essie nail polish I found today. I’m 100%, head-over-heels in love with Essie Sexy Divide. It’s a fabulous purple shade with shimmer and a great shine!
Sexy Divide is not a 2010 edition color (actually it’s a 2009), but I was so blinded by OPI’s Lincoln Park After Midnight (also purple) that I missed this great shade.
Because I know many of you get your nails done on Saturdays and Sundays, I just had to share. It’s winter time baby, go dark and love it!

This is a great color – – this weekend I was at J.Crew and I saw the Essie color they have called “Eternal Optimist”. I think it’s a J.Crew exclusive. It’s a fantastic opaque nude color, which I think is going to be really awesome for spring. I didn’t buy it though, because I didn’t know if it would look good on me – if you ever come across a good opaque nude nail color that works for pale skin let me know!! 🙂

Hey Brooke. Thanks for the post and welcome to you as well! I’ll have to go check out “Eternal Optimist.” Essie’s “Mademoiselle” is a great nude color, but it is a bit sheerer (of course you can do 3 coats for a darker/more opaque look). I’m very fair myself so I know your plight. Be sure to check out OPI’s “You Don’t Know Jacques,” if you haven’t already. It’s also a great gray.
